At bedtime, at night, please put the oil in a small, open container. Please ensure that the quantity of oil is proportional to the length and thickness of your hair, so that it is sufficient to cover your hair completely. Apply the oil with your fingertips to your scalp and massage gently to enable it to penetrate the roots (follicles) of your hair. Do not use your palms or rub it vigorously, as this may pull out weak hairs. Use it slowly and massage it into your hair; this will yield the desired results. Let the oil gradually seep into your hair follicles and nourish them throughout the night. The oil can be washed out in the morning by washing your hair with an Ayurvedic shampoo. Make sure not to use a chemical shampoo.
